Roger Patrick, a contemporary YA novelist, crafts stories exploring the interplay between secrets and society's expectations, where rage battles empathy, and heartbreak forges unexpected beauty. Roger's love for storytelling is fueled by his conviction that a great book can be as transformative for the reader as the protagonist.  

With a foundation in narrative strategies and screenwriting from UT Austin, Roger actively participates in a national writers' collective. His YA manuscript, "The Color of Gravity," was awarded first place by the Writer's League of Texas.   

As a member of the Texas Astronomical Association, Roger loves nothing more than getting lost beneath the Milky Way with his wife and three dogs.​
